Though Leigh Ann Orsi has made a name for herself as an athlete and as a life coach, she began her career working with people in the entertainment industry — specifically, in acting for television. As a child actress, she starred in over 100 commercials in the 1980s and 1990s. When she became disillusioned with playing children's characters — such as playing with Barbies and wearing a mouse costume for a national Kraft Cheese commercial — she turned to TV and film work instead. In 2002, after appearing on the covers of magazines such as Muscle & Fitness Hers and Fit Pregnancy, Ms. Orsi decided to become a personal trainer. She started her own business, which quickly gained popularity; soon thereafter, she was asked to be a life coach on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club. From there, her career continued to grow; eventually she became known as one of the world's leading fitness experts.
